The Escavels were considered the teen heartthrobs of the west suburban Chicagoland dance scene and actually won the Talented Teen Contest in 1965! Some Escavels members went on to some pretty heavy gigs: from major label blues ‘n boogie bands (Pacific Gas & Electric) to cult psychedelic albums (McDonald & Sherby), their influence might surprise you. The lucky guys cut a single acetate that we’re really excited to share with the world. Two mid western landlocked surf classics, locked away for 47 years.
